This building was constructed in 1894 in the style of a French palazzo according to a design by Severino Achucarro. It is the headquarters of the Sociedad bermeana Association. Much of the interior and part of the outside wall were destroyed by floods in 1983. The building was subsequently reconstructed, but numerous valuable paintings by major artists such as Ignacio Zuloaga were lost.
